From the early expansion of skilling-led livelihoods, through the disruptions of COVID-19 and into the shifts shaped by AI and the green economy, the organisation has remained closely present in the communities it serves.

Two decades of steady presence have built the trust that allows Sambhav to stand with communities through constant change and respond to each new phase of opportunity.

Every cluster has its own social norms, community identity, and local economy. The nuances of each geography and its work realities shape how opportunity takes form. Sambhav’s work is built around that reality.

Community-level presence anchors the organisation. Being adaptive, proximate, and accountable to the people it serves is what makes that presence real. Twenty years of uninterrupted field work has produced something that cannot be replicated quickly: relationships, knowledge, understanding, and a way of working that is built from the inside out.

That presence is guided by both programmatic depth and local understanding, holding expertise and context in the same conversation across clusters. Five integrated themes, each reinforcing the others, are brought to life through the specificity of each cluster’s reality.

Sambhav responds to the evolving future of work by preparing youth and women for new livelihood pathways. Our programmes build the skills and digital readiness required to access gig, platform, and green work opportunities. Alongside this, participants gain an understanding of different work forms and how combining them can elevate real income.
