Amid the Covid pandemic, the need to bring more sustainable and holistic changes
to India’s healthcare industry was indisputable. To make the health infrastructure
stronger and more resilient, we need solutions that penetrate every layer of the
health industry. With this in mind, Sambhav Foundation started a program in the
district of Vijayapura that would serve as a microcosm to learn about the
shortcomings in India’s healthcare systems, and a testbed for changes that can be
replicated nation-wide. This report highlights the successes and learnings from this
intervention.
